Partial Discharge Online Monitoring Device
The Partial Discharge Online Monitoring Device utilizes partial discharge measurement technology for early detection of insulation breakdown. One host unit can accommodate one set of sensors, which includes one TEV (Transient Earth Voltage) sensor and one ultrasonic sensor. Each set of sensors is used to monitor the partial discharge status of one switchgear (or one compartment of a ring network cabinet). The partial discharge status data is then uploaded to the user's monitoring backend via RS485 (MODBUS RTU protocol). The installation is simple and it is suitable for both new installations and retrofitting of equipment.
